Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Friday [04/02].
Sure, yesterday had had a few more odd moments than normal, most of them relating to confusing messages on her phone, but Amaya didn't really pay them too much mind beyond a cursory response, and then there was nothing after that, for the most part, so she wasn't going to worry about it. She was especially not going to worry about some of them in particular.
Lucille's message about the birds, though, did sort of make her feel a little inspired, and since she didn't really have any pressing projects at the moment, she was going to take some time today to just sort of do something a little fun and work on forging some metal birds.
After all, it couldn't all be weapons, right?
Although some of those metal birds definitely did have incredibly sharp edges because they were definitely meant to be cleverly disguised shuriken, and she definitely got sucked into trying to perfect a batch of them where the blade-wings spun out dramatically upon throwing it, which meant there was a lot of experiementation and a lot of metal birds being thrown into the wall and sticking into the wood right now, but really, that's how it should be on any productive day at the shop!
So maybe it was all weapons, after all.
