Everyone had spent most of the week being entirely too traumatized to have sex, and then when that was finally over-- "It is," he informed Tiny for the fifth time that night, "Despicable what this island gets away with!"

Despicable.

Apologies, bar clientele, he was going to be loud on the piano tonight.

"Well, everyone was all a bit busy handling their respective traumas until yesterday," Lucifer said, "But then! Then! We tried. For hours. There is lube on my ceiling, and Duke has a black eye. This! Is not natural!"

"I'm going to have to get my ceiling repainted, aren't I," he said.

"Well you don't need to repaint the entire ceiling," Jessica pointed out and then realized something. "I mean. Unless. The entire ceiling is just..."

She's going to let that thought hang there.

Well, thanks to her extended nap in the middle of the day, and despite how worn down she felt in general, Octavia wasn't feeling particularly sleepy this Friday evening.

So might as well show up at the club, get a drink (if you could call a glass of water and ice that), and watch Lucifer play for a while, from the bar. Right?

Because that was what she was doing.

"Ah, you're here," Lucifer said, eventually. He'd gone through several more renditions of angry songs, including at least one from Metallica's louder register.

And now she was there. Looking gorgeous, while also likely being entirely unbangeable.
