Miguel came in and made his usual beeline for the coffee machine, greeting the staff absently as he passed. They greeted back. "Guten tag!"
Miguel squinted at them as he poured himself a cup of coffee. "Do I want to know?"
"It's German Language Day," one of the servers muttered in passing. "Just go with it."
Miguel sighed. "Right. I'll go get the specials board."
"Ich hab's!" the cook answered cheerfully, rushing to put it out.
Miguel pinched the bridge of his nose. "At least it's not all sauerkraut." Today was going to be a long day.
