Pick Your Poison, Thursday

Ya know, Margo had spent some time going back and forth on whether she felt whimsical enough to get some Halloween shit in here. Maybe a few pumpkins, put up a skeleton as a warning for people who didn’t invest in skin care, that kinda thing.

And then it was Thursday, and she still hadn’t done anything. Fuck it. She put a bunch of the Halloween-y bathbombs out in the window and around the counter, lit some scented candles from a brand called SPOOK! and called it good.

She wasn’t exactly made for retail.

“I think we did enough to liven up this sleepy island commune this month,” Margo said, as she looked up from the tome on the counter. “Beyond dazzling whatever Halloween parties might be comin’ up, obviously.”
