Well, it was almost Halloween, so Eric was dressed up as a vampire: leather pants, black sleeveless shirt, leather jacket, fangs.

Why, yes it was what he wore all the time. Yes, he did this every year. Yes, he still found it hilarious.

Tiny maybe not so much, which was why there were Bloody Marys on special.

The Devil's Nest was open! Mwahaha, etc.

Miguel walked in and hitched a thumb over his shoulder. "No more leather pants night? I was counting on that."

Liz was back at the bar again for the second week in a row, which was a bit of a social record for her.

She spotted the special, she hadn’t had a Bloody Mary in a while and she could also instagram it. “Evening,” she said as she took a seat at the bar, “I’ll have a Bloody Mary please,”

"I'm still wearing them," Eric said, grinning.

"Tiny, serve the lady," Eric said, waving his hand lazily.

"Thank you," she smiled when Tiny handed her the drink and yes there was her phone out and a photo being taken of the drink and uploaded under the hashtags #bloodymarys and #eveningdrinks. “Instagram wasn’t around when I was last in Fandom,” she said when she finally put her phone down. She was definitely making up for lost time now.

"I still don't really get it," Eric admitted. "Lucifer set the bar up with an account."

"Very true." Miguel grinned. "I'm not, because apparently my usual pair isn't tight enough for Rosa. I was hoping to get the name of your supplier," he joked. "Or store, or whatever."

"I've been trying to get up to date with social media but instagram kind of took over," she told him, "back home is still a few years away from getting facebook and twitter and all those different apps so I've been trying to catch up but ... I've missed a lot apparently," that was an understatement.

"I have a tailor," Eric said, "down in New Orleans."

"Skip Facebook," Eric advised.

“It’s really gotten that bad?” Liz had barely used it when she was first in Fandom so it hadn’t been one of the first accounts she’d gone to check when she rediscovered social media.

Miguel made a face. "Damn. Okay, I'll just keep trying wherever I can. I didn't even know leather was a thing you could tailor."

He shrugged. "Can I get a drink instead, then?" He eyed the specials board. "Not a bloody mary. Beer's fine."

"It's a hellpit," Eric said, "and I know about hellpits."

"My ass deserves the best," Eric overshared as Tiny brought over a beer.

Miguel laughed. "I'm sure it does." He thanked Tiny and paid for the beer.

"Usually my outfit's tight enough, but I promised leather, and the tighter, the less chance I get killed for talking her into a couple's costume." Even if he hadn't quite known that was what he was doing.

Eric blinked. "Right," he said after too long a pause. "And I asked to know this...when?"

Miguel shrugged. "About the time you told me your ass deserved the best? Just returning the explanation."

He frowned, squinting at Eric. "Have you always had fangs?"

"My ass is fascinating--" debatable, "--and couple's costumes are grounds for justifiable homicide no matter how tight your pants are."

Also debatable. "And I've had fangs for the last thousand years. I just don't keep them out because it's not polite."

"Tell me about it." Miguel paused. "The couple's costume, not your ass. Haven't seen enough for a ruling on that." He made a face. "Must be nice. Wish mine retracted."

Eric laughed. "It cuts down significantly on the lisping."

Miguel rolled his eyes. "That, and anywhere but Fandom I have to mumble a lot to keep them from being visible. No vampires or other non-humans in the world I came from."

"Then where'd the fangs come from?" Eric asked.

"Spider DNA," Miguel said with a shrug. "And rotten luck, I'd say, but at least I didn't end up bristly or something."
