The Photo Hut - Thursday
Since Liz had caught up on her admin work from the last week the other day, she only had a few emails to reply to that had come in since then - she decided to spend her morning working on the various social media accounts that she had set up for both her own potential photography business as well as the Photo Huts social media accounts.
It had definitely been a while since she had originally set them up and with everything that had been happening these last couple of months, hadn’t been updating them as well as she should have beenand the mun forgot about them. So it was definitely enough to keep her morning busy and focused and she was finding that she was quite enjoying going back through old photos to upload them to the various accounts.

"Smoothie?" he offered, holding up a cup and setting it on the counter, along with the bag of food. "Salad?"
Without Ignis around last night to cook for them, he, Gladio, and Noctis had been left to their own devices, and there were....choices made that Prompto was definitely feeling he needed to make dietary pennance for.
"Adorable and long overdue greeting?" he concluded, which, of course, meant sweeping in to plant a swift kiss on Liz's cheek before he grinned stupidly before offering out a, "Hey."

“Well I do like the sound all of those options,”. she said, her smile widening and she gave a small laugh as well, “hi,” she said with a grin.

Brandishing a fork, he popped open the lid to his salad.
"And class was good," he said, stabbing that fork into some lettuce. "Went over different kinds of shots. Literally," he chuckled a little at this, shaking his head, "had a student clinging to the ceiling for a bird's eye shot..."

She took a bite of her salad, “that would certainly have been a different experience,” she grinned.

He trailed off, starting to shift his weight a little uncomfortably, at the reminder of his low...well, lower than low...origins.
"I don't know," he concluded, with a shake of his head. "It's connected to his weapons, too. He just...focuses on a spot, I guess, throws his weapon, and then..." His hand made a little bursting motion in the air. "Fwoosh/i>! He's there. But sometimes he can do it without the weapon, too.
"It is pretty cool, though," he allowed, giving Liz a faint smile, "to see in action."

she considered, “but that does sound like something that would be incredible to see in action,” she returned that small smile.

There was a faint chuckle, and then a pause of hesitation, as that thought tumbled into something that had been on the edge of his mind for a while now. He shifted his weight on his feet a little, pushed some lettuce around with his fork.
"You should meet him sometime," he said. "I think you two will get along.:
...oh gods, but what if they didn't?

There was a pause and then, “I’d like that, I’d like to meet him one day from what you told me he sounds like an incredible person,”
Then she was more worried about making a good impression …she didn’t want to embarrass Prompto in front of his friend …then she began to wonder what Noctis already knew about her.

He finally stopped just moving the food around and took a bite, chewing and swallowing before looking over at Liz, the confidence of his smile not at all convincing, but it was trying, as he ventured, "Remember when we were talking about maybe a trip back home at some point? Once all the Christmas stuff was over? You think....you think you'd still want to do that?"
It had kind of taken a back-burner with everything else going on, but they seemed to be heading into a calmer territory again, so...maybe...?

Even though she knew how unpredictable everything could be ... but it seemed to be settling, surely she could manage a visit to Prompto's home world.
There was a pause and then, "um ... does he know about ... well what I can do?" she finally asked.

He stopped, shook his head a little, realizing that not a single one of those thoughts managed to be complete sentences, and tried again.
"He knows you've been kind of going through some stuff lately," he offered, "and that it has to do with powers," which he'd only mentioned because he figured Noct would definitely understand that sort of thing, "but that's it..."
Revealing anything more would probably mark Liz as a security risk, which would sort of complicate her visiting a little!
