The Perk- Wednesday Morning
Was Billy totally clueless about what was going on this week? Yes he was. Which was probably why he was getting such mixed messages from the baristas that were working that morning. One seemed to be going out of her way to flirt with him and the other was just giving him sympathetic looks as he waited for his standard mocha monstrosity and headed for his usual table.
He had no clue what was literally in the air right now, but for the moment at least, he was chalking up the 'off' feeling to just exhaustion and a side effect of the nightmares and all. Hopefully the caffeine would help. (spoiler alert-n it would not!)
