Diaz & Ass.; Tuesday [08/02].
Even though she very rarely did work on the weekends unless she was in an active investigation that required it, Rosa reserved the right to still complain about weekends like last throwing her off and putting her behind on her work. She was, of course, mostly just using that as a new place to channel her annoyance about it into something else, so that she wouldn't have to think too hard about why it was so annoying.
So here we go. Back to the here and now and the quest to hunt down a stuffed beaver.
...okay, if this was her present, maybe her future wasn't actually all that bad after all.
Diaz & Ass. is open!

He flopped into his chair. "Where were you all weekend, hiking in Tibet?"

That was an added bonus to this particular one, yes.

She faltered, for a moment, an odd expression passing over her face, brow furrowed, frowning.
"--ow," she concluded.

Still felt weird, if she was honest. Like something wasn't quite right.

"Better now?" Did he need to beat something up or do Science for you, Rosa? He totally would.

Only to then find herself unable to say anything at all because panthers didn't exactly have much capability for human language, and a panther was exactly what was in Rosa's chair now.

And, in that moment, panther!Rosa seemed to be making those dismissive thoughts very clear in the way she was now pushing things either to the side or completely off the desk, to make enough space for her to hop onto it and settle down right on top of all of her files and paperwork, and making good use of the fact that, if anything, it was a pretty sturdy desk.
