Tavin had not wanted to spend any more time on the island than he had to. But he also had a feeling that his son was going to be as stubborn as ever and he might be there for more than a day. So he had tracked down where the local hotel was and went to inquire about a room.

He was surprised to find that there was already a room reserved for him for the weekend. Strange. But whatever. It was a room he wasn't going to have to pay for so he wasn't going to complain (much) about things.

The poor bellhop though, he was going to be disappointed if he was expecting a tip or anything from Tavin.
