Since Liz and Prompto were going to the BPRD for Thanksgiving, Liz was trying to get as much work done as she could. Her focus in particular was the financial reports and some other general admin tasks that she wanted to complete before they left to go on holidays. She was looking forward to returning home and seeing everyone.

It was a little bit hard to concentrate knowing that there was only had a couple of days left before Thanksgiving but she wanted to get as much work done as she could so she didn’t have to do it all when she got back.

Hopefully, a quick visit wouldn't be too much of a distraction?

"Hey, Liz," Dwight said as he walked into the shop with a grin. "How are you doing?"

Liz smiled as she looked up from her computer when Dwight came in , “Dwight hi,” she said, “I’m doing pretty well thank you, much better than I was a couple of weeks ago. How have you been?”

"Doing good... pushing through the early rush of holiday orders, so been keeping pretty busy!" Dwight said with a small chuckle. "It's going to get busier I think the closer we get to Christmas, so enjoying the semi-slowness while I can."

Liz smiled, “that’s great, what type of orders are you working on?,” she asked, “I’ll probably start to take it slow with work next month and in the new year, try and take it easy as we get closer to my due date, it’s 3 months til she’s born, I can’t believe how quickly it’s approaching,” she smiled fondly.

Dwight thought over the last dozen or so packages he had gotten shipped out so far.

"Lots of personalized things- cutting boards, knick snacks, plaques, things like that. I had a few orders for bigger pieces that I will have to load up and take to the mainland at some point for them to be picked up. Will probably do that after Thanksgiving since most people will be away cuz of the holiday."

Dwight gave Liz a small smile. "It must be exciting counting down the months. How's Prompto handling it all? I remember I was a bit of a nervous wreck towards the end there before Lizzie was born."

Liz nodded, “it sounds like you’re doing really well, I’m glad you’re getting in a lot of orders,” she told him.

She paused as she considered the last question, “I think he’s nervous but I know he’s also ecstatic as well,” Liz smiled, placing a hand on her bump, “he’s been amazing about everything, including those couple of weeks when I wasn’t feeling well,” she knew she hadn’t been the most easy to look after in that time.

"It's good you both have each other. That kind of support makes all the difference!" Dwight said. "You guys heading out anywhere for the holiday?"

Liz smiled, "we're travelling back to New Jersey and having dinner with my family," she explained, "it will be nice to see everyone again, I did see them at Parents Weekend but I haven't been back since my birthday and I first found out I was pregnant," she told him, "how about you? Do you have any plans for Thanksgiving?"

"Oh that will be good to get to see everyone again," Dwight said. "I'll be sticking around here. Got no one to see really so will be me and Snoopy chilling out at the apartment enjoying some turkey" he said with a small smile.

Liz gave a small smile in response, “it should be pretty quiet in Fandom though at least,” she considered, “Prompto and I are making pie and a cake to bring over, it sounds like a lot but Hellboy does like to eat a lot,” she tilted her head, “and I suppose I am eating for two this year though as well,”
