A Burned-Down Chunk of the Abandoned Warehouse District, Monday Morning
Fosse surveyed the remains of what had once been a series of proud, dilapidated warehouses impassively. He leaned on his hammer with both hands. It wasn't all of them, but it was still quite a chunk. This would be a tough job.
"This will be a tough job," said Jesse. She sighed. Rolled her shoulders. Cracked her fingers. "Okay, let's clear this out, first," she said. "I can always look at all the construction plans the school board sent over later."
God, I really hate the paperwork.
She stretched out her arm and ripped the first chunk of concrete out from a mangled frame. Fosse lifted his hammer, and trudged in.
