Eleanor had gone into Plant Parenthood looking for help for her grandmother's poor mistreated drakondia and wound up, through a series of very handwaved events, wound up in turn helping out Plant Parenthood...by acquiring a job there. She'd never had a job, of course, and no one in her family had probably worked a conventional job in...well, ever, so she wasn't entirely sure what it was going to entail. For now, though, it seemed to involve showing up on Thursday and just helping out customers wherever she could and, if she couldn't, referring them to Nell.

She had a feeling she would be making a lot of referrals to Nell.

But, in the meantime, she figured she'd get to know the shop a little better, and was even going so far as to cross-reference certain things with a book on botany she'd picked up at the library, and if this was what her job ended up being on most days? She would be more than fine with that.
