Trooper Station, Friday

The Station- and the Troopers- were all suspiciously quiet today. Watts wasn’t entirely sure he trusted it, but he also wasn’t going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Looks like today was going to be a paperwork sort of day.

Paperwork and perhaps a quick lunch? Not that there could be anything home made when everything was packed up back at the flats and nothing unpacked in the new kitchen. But beaus needed to be taken care of, after all, so there was Steven at Llewellyn's office door with a couple of vegan burrito bowls he'd picked up on the way over. "Hello, you."

Watts looked up with a pleased smile at the sound of Steven’s voice. “Hello, you.”

"I brought lunch," Steven said holding up the bag. He closed the door behind him. "And a proper greeting if you'd like one."

Watts was already standing in order to meet Steven part way. “Those both sound wonderful,” he confessed.

"Proper greeting first, I'd say," Steven told him. He put the bag with lunch on Llewellyn's desk so that he could wrap his arms around Llewellyn's waist while kissing him.

“Mmm, agreed,” Watts said. “Otherwise I’d rush through lunch in order to get to my proper greeting.”

"I'd be too distracted to enjoy the meal," Steven said. He snuck a few more kisses in. "How are you? Everything all right here?"

“Dreadfully boring up until roughly a minute or two ago,” Watts shared.

Steven smiled up at him. "Funnily enough, that's when my day improved as well. Though not boring. Turns out there's all sorts of paperwork to fill out for having a sentient home you're making into a boarding house."

Yes, most people would find the sheer volume of paperwork Jesse had given Steven to be boring. However, Steven had been having anxiety about this for days now so frankly he was thrilled to finally have closure even at the risk of potential repetitive stress injury from all the writing.

“Oh?” Watts said. “That seems like an oddly specific thing to have paperwork for.”

Though he supposed if anyplace would, it would be Fandom.

"Don't know if it's specific as much as it's comprehensive," Steven said. "Loads of forms that sort of cover it all when you put them together? There's even bits for Midnight to do, which I thought was nice. Respectful of it, you know?"
