The wonders of the modern world continued to impress Nancy.
Today, when she arrived to a stack of filing to be done, she also quickly found a little device that looked sort of like an adding machine, but she shortly discovered printed off little labels.
And while label makers totally existed in the 80s, they weren't like this, and it only took a little bit of experimentation with fonts and sizes before Nancy had landed on a few that she liked.
So, while files might be alphabetized -- well, hopefully no one here was too attached to their labels' fonts being serifed. Or uniform in size or color. Some might be in calligraphy, who could say.
