The Infinite Consortium, Thursday Afternoon
Liliana was eyeing the newest delivery: an armchair. Specifically, an 'entirely normal armchair'. Which was was what the manifest listed it as. Because things that were 'entirely normal' needed that to be specified up front. Uh-huh. Sure.
"I wonder how much of a pain in my ass this is going to be," Liliana muttered, glancing down at the manifest again. "Can I just return to sender...?"
When she looked up again, the chair was gone. She spat out a few gutteral Grixis curses and proceeded to search for the damn thing. It wasn't particularly hard to find - it was a bloody chair for Serra's sake - but from the way it liked to hunker down in the shadows, Liliana didn't trust it one bit. This thing was an ambush predator. She used magic to wrestle it over into the display window.
An hour later, she had to hunt it down and do that again.
Twenty minutes after that, the same thing.
By the middle of her shift, it was somehow both exasperating and entertaining at the same time. "Black really needs more artifact removal," she sniffed, dragging it back to the window again.
