Steph's morning had not started out in the most auspicious of ways, what with waking up to find herself being hustled off to the radio station by the squirrels and then realizing that said squirrels were being chased by a very upset little pink kitty who had not been a little pink kitty yesterday. Plus, you know, just... October.
But now that she was at work and respectably caffeinated, and found herself constantly being climbed on and purred at and headbutted by kitty!Vi, things were better. Tolerable, anyway.
... and then finding out that Sleater-Kinney, the greatest PNW band of all time by her count -- had a new album coming out helped push the needle over from 'tolerable' to 'kind of okay, actually.' Even if it wasn't coming out until next year.
