The TV-headed guys shilling promotional deals and credit card sign-ups may have been gone, but it seemed like the phone at Diaz & Associates didn't get the memo, because it was practically ringing off the hook today, all of them not with potential jobs but potential ways in which Rosa could save on her motorcycle insurance or her internet package or that she might be entitled to compensation something something mesothelioma.
Of course, their first mistake was the fact that it was Rosa they were calling, because she was absolutely going to just mess with them back. Between pretending she didn't speak English to acting like she was distracted by one horrible thing going on in the background or another to 'putting them on hold' while clearly just setting the phone down and doing other things, she was going to make their existence as a miserable phone jockey in some soul-crushing corporation that much more annoying and frustrating.
She was pretty sure she even managed to sell one of them on a time share in Boca Raton.
