Halloween had come and went, and while Nancy had always been a fan, this year it kind of made her a little wistful. Not because Halloween was Halloween, of course, but because it had been just a little bit before Christmas when she'd shown up here last year, and -- look, it just made her think, in a way she had decided months and months ago was not productive.
So, today, rather than let herself become sad at work, Nancy was instead playing a little.........dangerously. She'd gotten some tinsel, and a teeny little tree, and used those items to decorate her desk. Just hers! Just her own little workspace, because call her crazy, but Detective Diaz did not seem like someone who liked tinsel.
But that being said, they just didn't have that much to do around here, and thus Nancy was also leaving behind a handmade snowflake chain lightly hung across a pair of filing cabinets. Maybe this was a special skill, technically, okay?
