Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Tuesday [11/28].

Amaya was the type of person who definitely judged her social life based on how successfully she marketed when she'd gone to social events, so she was feeling pretty good about how Thanksgiving had gone, and since she'd spoken to Liliana about the lobsters and their arsenal of adorable little lobster weapons, Dave and Diane were down and keeping her company in the shop this week, in case she stopped in and needed to see the action first hand. She'd even set up a nice little training area for them on one of the worktables, especially since her attention was more on kitting up one of the practice dummies with all the pieces of bone accessories she'd been working on to present a full picture

And then it was onto possible chandelier designs or just giving a chandelier a few practice runs, but, considering her company that day, her designs were taking on a very clearly crustacean leaning, and while she thought it was pretty cool, it probably didn't align very well with Dr. Lecter's aesthetics.

She was still gonna make it, though. It didn't make her own rustic décor and sensibilities, either, but, if there was one thing Amaya had learned ever since opening up an online shop, it was that people really are into some of the weirdest things. There was definitely someone out there somewhere who would be interested in a lobster chandelier, and she would find that person, dang it!

The Forge is open!

And lo, after her visit to the diner, the next place on Liliana's mental map was a visit to Amaya's forge. Nor did she come empty-handed.

"Hello the forge," she called as she entered. "Rather, hello the blacksmith?"

If something were to happen to bring all the equipment on the island to life, Liliana was certain that the forge was the last place she'd want to be for it. That was some Maximum Overdrive levels of nonsense and no thank you.

Oh, Liliana had absolutely spotted the bonework, her eyes greedily taking in every detail. She had also spotted the...training arena...but one of those things was for her and one of those things was not, and it was no contest about which captured her attention more thoroughly.

"I knew we'd need to sit down and chat today, so I brought treats," she said, holding up the container from the diner she'd brought along with her. "There is no good reason to discuss commissions on an empty stomach, after all."

Granted, Liliana had just come from lunch, but it was the principle of the matter.

That was blue mana propaganda and Liliana wasn't here for it.

She opened the container to show Amaya what she'd brought: meat on sticks. She'd been too distracted teasing Ignis about Christmas shopping to get the details about what kind of meat or what preparation method was used or anything, but she could confidently say that these were chunks of some meat on skewers.

"I'm afraid my next project is going to be fairly utilitarian," she said, almost apologetically. "Or rather, I don't have any requirements outside of a few very specific decorations, but I trust in your sense of aesthetics if you decide to add more." She caught sight of the crustacean-based chandelier and and hastily tacked on, "...Suitable to the established decor of the piece, I mean."

"I need a safe," Liliana said, gesturing out the dimensions, several feet along each side. "The door needs to be heavy and weighted so that it will fall closed, not open, if that makes sense. Able to be opened in a hurry by someone who has the key or the combination or whatever locking mechanism you choose - within seconds, preferably. The only thing I really have specifications for is the door and the detailing that will be either embossed or engraved - your choice - on it."

Pulling out two sheets of paper, she slid them over to Amaya. The first had four images on it, one in each corner, the second three. "Those. One set on the outside of the door, the other on the inside. They're not done yet, there will be five total on each, but I thought you might appreciate seeing roughly what I'm thinking of."
