Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

The door with the Jedi still burn mark was gone today, replaced by saloon doors. Which might be why there was an armadillo trying to burrow itself into the quicksand. So Rey's first task today was trying to save it.

The dirt floor was new, but it was nice to try drills on a surface she hadn't used in a while. Especially when her attention had to be slightly divided watching the quicksand, just in case.

Anakin walked in, jumped over the quicksand, and landed on a surface he wasn't expecting. "Rey?"

"Watch for armadillos!" she called immediately, just in case.

"The what?" Anakin yelled back, looking around and much further up than you'd find an armadillo. Blame his years on Tatooine.

[thatwaslucky]

"Armadillos! One tried to get in the sand." Which would be fine except Rey didn't actually know how far that went down?

[sith_happened]

"It didn't get all the way in, did it?" he asked, looking worried.

[thatwaslucky]

"No, I got it out in time. But I don't know where he went after that," she said.

Anakin closed his eyes, questing out into the Force. "Over there," he said, pointing. "I think."

"Hopefully it's not another one," she said. "We have enough going on in here."

"We do," Anakin agreed, looking around. "Are those new cactus?"

[thatwaslucky]

"It's part of the whole... thing that's going on, yeah," Rey said. "We definitely didn't have old ones."

"We did not," Anakin said. "Now I'm kind of sad I didn't check here daily as we've moved."

[thatwaslucky]

"There hasn't been too much inside until today," she said, thinking back. "Oh, and I put Beaver Nuggets in with the snacks."

"Beaver Nuggets?" Anakin repeated. "Juliet said that she'd eaten them all to save the rest of us from trying them."

Rey wouldn't rat Juliet out, but she did carefully say, "I have a horde."

Yes, she'd gone back for more. What of it.

"Horde," Anakin repeated, smiling.

[thatwaslucky]

"Damn you, autocorrect A hoard," she nodded. "There were too many kinds. And I don't know that that place is coming back."

[sith_happened]

"There were more than one kind?" Anakin asked, brightening. "Maybe Juliet chose the wrong flavor."

Or she hoovered them all, leaving none for you, Anakin.

"Maybe she did," Tey said. "I haven't tried them all to know which the bad one might be."

She'd keep your secret, Juliet.

"Do you want to try some?"

"I would like to try some," Anakin agreed with a smile. "Just to see."

Rey clipped her lightsaber to her belt and headed to the snack palm tree. "I have original, cinnamon, the spicy ones, chocolate, sea salt and white cheddar."

WHAT.

Anakin blinked. "That's a lot of choices. Let's try with original?"

[thatwaslucky]

Rey retrieved the bag and brought it over. Of course it was already open, though largely full. "I have a backup if you want to finish that one."

[sith_happened]

"You really liked these," Anakin noted, taking a handful.

[thatwaslucky]

"I don't know when that store may ever come back," she said. "I did what I had to do."

[sith_happened]

"There isn't one close to the island?" asked poor, uninformed Anakin.
