Needful Things; Friday (Until Afternoon)
It was a puttering around sort of day at Needful Things.
That was the nice way of putting it, anyway. The less nice way would have been to say it was a day for Harley to pick up tasks - dusting, putting new-old merchandise in their proper places, trying to fix a vase she'd broken while putting new-old merchandise in its proper place - only to abandon them the second some other task caught her attention.
In the afternoon, this chain of tasks was ultimately going to lead to her catching a glimpse of her J tattoo in one of the antique mirrors, and promptly abandoning the entire store in favor of the tattoo place down the street.
But until then, Needful Things was open!
