The Troopers were upset at not having the day off.
"It's not even your holiday," Watts tried to argue. "Besides, wasn't it yesterday?" Which just made them grumpier as they hadn't had yesterday off either. Apparently the Troopers felt they deserved a long weekend. You know, for all the hard work they did maintaining order in town the rest of the year.
"How about I send Calvin on a run to the Perk?" Watts offered. This was deemed an acceptable compromise. Somehow.
