The Magpie Emporium, Thursday (12/19)
On Tuesday, Steph had handwavily spent her birthday having a really nice, chill time with Vi; yesterday there'd been a mini painting workshop in the store to the light of a fake Yule log on the brand new wall-mounted TV that was supposed to be showing a list of new releases and upcoming events.
Today the TV was functioning as intended, Saffron was too busy being entranced by the spinning dreidels to ignore Steph as ostentatiously as usual, and Steph was busy trying to figure out how to use Excel to generate a bunch of random dates. She'd told Vi they were going to pick out a birthday for her by rolling for it on a random table, and damn if she wasn't going to have a random table for her.
At least, when she wasn't busy running around the store recommending games for people to give out as presents. Which was happening a lot today, unsurprisingly.
