The Perk, Monday Morning

It was a bleary-eyed and somewhat sleep-deprived Watts who stumbled his way into the Perk on Monday morning. As per usual, he requested a mocha. This time, though, the baristas insisted on adding peppermint syrup. Which wasn't bad, just not at all what he was accustomed to. He found himself a table and twirled down in to the seat, intent on nursing that coffee and nibbling on the chocolate coins from the sky until he felt more awake.
