The Photo Hut - Thursday

After not having much energy last week, Liz was feeling a bit better and wanted to try and make the most of her morning and get as much work done as she could. Her main focus was trying to get the last of the end of month reports done and get as far ahead as as she could while she was feeling better. In between the general paperwork, Liz was also taking the time to catch up on some emails that still needed to be answered so it was proving to be a rather busy morning.

Prompto came down with Noctra around lunchtime, bearing chicken sandwiches and salad and...cups of lime jello.

"Sorry for the jello," he said, by way of greeting with an apologetic smile as he settled the food down and leaned in for a kiss. "Noctra insisted that we included something 'slimy'."

"Slimy slime!" she confirmed,lifting her hands and making a squishing sound as she mimed out slime being dumped over Prompto's head.

"I'm second-guessing Wednesdays at the park," he noted, holding onto Noctra tight as she leaned over to repeat 'sliming' Liz as well.

Liz smiled fondly as she returned the kiss and at Noctra as she was ‘slimed’.

“Oh I haven’t had jello in ages,” she told them with a grin, “thank you, lunch looks delicious,”

"Pretty sure the last jello i had was one of Summer's jello shots," Prompto admitted with a chuckle, as he set Noctra down to focus on distributing food, "and who even knows how long that's been!"

He grinned around a bite of sandwich, swallowing before asking, "How're things down here today?"

“I feel like that’s definitely been a while,” Liz said with a fond grin, “and it hasn’t been too bad down here, trying to get as much of the end of month reports as I can,” she told him.

"End of the month reports?" Prompto echoed, grinning as he rolled his eyes with exaggeration. "More like never-ending of the month reports, am I right?? You're a real trooper for always knocking those out the way you do, babe."

“I know what you mean,” Liz said with a laugh, “it definitely feels never ending, but I figured I’d try and keep on top of the reports while I could,”

"There's that smart brain at work again," Prompto said fondly. "I'd offer to help, but I'm pretty sure that's just making more work for you to fix it later..."

Liz smiled, “I definitely wouldn’t say no to the help,” she assured him, “even though I know end of month reports isn’t the most exciting thing to work on,” she admitted.
