Lydia had had different plans for this week's Supper Club, it must be said, but, well. She was a pony. As were quite a lot of other people.

She had thought about canceling, especially considering the horrible monsters roaming the streets, but they had taken last week off for the break and she feared that if everyone got out of the habit Supper Club would fade into history. So she had painstakingly typed out a message on her phone (it was unclear how good of a job she'd done, considering she'd been using her hooves) letting everyone know to meet at the bakery instead. It had goods made with apples. Horses could eat apples. It seemed logical.

Look, she was doing her best here. Welcome to Supper Club, everyponyone!

And here Henry had made such progress over break about the whole 'being dead or not' thing.

"Oh, yes, it is quite the wonder, isn't it?" Lydia said, referring to the display case. While she stood here with hooves, and a moon and magic wand stamped on her butt.

Flint was one grumpy pony, stomping into the bakery. "Why is there an island on my bum?"

He hadn't meant to say "bum."

He stomped his hoof.

"Derriere."

"Posterior."

"Rear."

"Hindquarters."

Why did he keep saying words for one's posterior? That was weird, Flint. You were being weird.

Lydia was just going to breeze right past it in the name of manners. They were ponies, after all. It was already weird. "Captain Flint!" she cried, going by the mane and tail and voice. "I'm so glad you could join us!" As a pony. Frankly, that he'd taken the time to both read and interpret her no doubt badly-misspelled message warmed her heart.

"Do you often dream of turning into a horse?" Flint asked, flicking his mane away from his eyes.

"I could use something to eat," Flint admitted. "Making tea was a disaster."

"I tried to make a cake in a mug in one of my classes," Lydia reported. "It...did not go well." Hopefully someone was going to clean that up. Certainly Lydia hadn't, with her hooves and all.

Do you know how hard it was to fight dinosaurs as a pony? Rey did! It had involved her launching herself at a few and hoping.

Hadn't gone great. She Force threw one into the pond on the way here.

"We were supposed to cook it in one of those 'microwave' contraptions," Lydia explained. "I...didn't get that far, I'm afraid." She had tried, Flint. She had tried so hard. With her hooves.

"Yes, the flooring is a bit dodgy with hooves, is it not?" Lydia asked in response.

"No, but I did just get my first horse," Henry mused. "Perhaps it's awakened something?"

Henry blinked at her with comically big pony eyes. "Dreaming a lot," he said. "What did I eat last night...?"

Lydia tilted her pony head to the side in confusion. "I'm sure I don't know," she said. "I wasn't there when you dined."

"I did get some of the flour into the cup!" Only some of it. But she got it into the cup.

"No, it ships-" There was an exasperated pony grunt, followed by a facehoof, and and a, "Nevermind. I'm here."

"We're all horses," Henry felt he needed to point out. "You don't think that's mad?"

"I've found kicking them to be quite effective," Lydia reported. She was probably better at fighting dinosaurs like this than she would have been in her girl shape, actually.
