New Shop

A shabby but pleasant-looking shop has appeared in town. There is no name on the outside, but looking through the window will reveal a small dimly-lit room filled with old-fashioned wooden bookshelves. The shelves are packed with an assortment of old and rather dusty books.

Taped to the inside of the window is a sign, hand-lettered in neat but rather old-fashioned writing:

CLOSED

Apologies for any inconvenience

(OOC: the shop, which sells rare books, will be open anytime after today. However, in RL I have a job and will only be able to respond to posts after 6:00PM ET -- US.)

(Second OOC: I am not British. I humbly apologize in advance for any rampant non-British-ness in these posts. I'll do my best!)

ooc Are you a fandom or orignal character? We do have book shop, but as it sells nothing and the owner is a drunk it won't be a problem!

*Fran stands outside the bookshop and raises an eyebrow... contemplating the last time she bought a book. She couldn't remember, despite the fact that she worked next door to Black Books. She didn't think that was a good sign.*

*She takes another drag from her cigarette, deciding a lot of things in her life probably weren't good signs, and she'd have to try rectify at least this one*
