::arrives on the street corner next to Championship Vinyl, with a large suitcase in each hand, a rather full looking backpack, and wearing his nicest suit and Winnie the Pooh tie that he is so very proud he tied himself::

::so proud, in fact, that he's standing on the corner totally unknowing where mrsvandekamp's apartment is::

::stands for a minute, until his smile slowly fades, and begins chewing on his bottom lip::

::continues to stand, looking helpless, hoping that someone will notice and come to help him, shifting his weight from foot to foot::

Smith is running errands while someone else mans the counter at the coffee house and spots the lost-looking man. Sometimes she just can't resist helping.

Hi! My name is Eugene... I just got hired to be the wrestling coach at the school. I talked with... with... mrsvandekamp about a room to rent, and she said okay, and I came down with all my stuff, but I don't know where to find her, and I'm getting scared. ::bites lower lip, eyes a little teary::

Smith notices Eugene's mild retardation and gentles her voice from its usual brusqueness.

"Yeah, I know where she lives; she just moved into town too. Let's get you over there, okay?"

She leads Eugene to his new home and waits with him for Bree to open the door.
