Saturday at Cinema Cohen

After a quiet Friday, Cinema Cohen -- the town's one-screen vintage 40's movie theater -- is open for business. Today, the marquee reads:

RED EYE (PG-13)
FRIDAY * SATURDAY * SUNDAY
1 P.M. * 4 P.M. * 7 P.M. * 10 P.M.


Tickets are $7. And remember, kids, thrillers make great date movies.

Desperately needing a break, Red locked up his shop and trotted down the street to take in the local movie.

"With a name like Red Eye, how bad can it be?" he chuffed lightheartedly as he rose onto his back legs to purchase a ticket for the 1 pm show.

Charlie slides into his place at the ticket office with seconds to spare. "Sorry, boss."

He stashes his bookbag under the counter.

Veronica decides she needs to tell Wallace about what happened Thursday night. She heads over to the movie theater and finds him working.

She smiles brightly.

"Hey, Fennell! Wanna grab some coffee with your BFF after work?"
