*Maia sits happily eating an ice cream cone under a bright pink and orange umbrella, slightly bored because her boyfriend landed himself in detention and semi annoyed with the non observance of detention she bites into her mint chocolate chip cone waiting for someone to come along into the town and hang out. She does not have a lot of friends but what she does have is choice.*

*Paige walks past carrying 2 large cups of coffee and a bag of muffins, she notices the girl*

Hey you're from the school aren't you? You look familar

*nods eagerly* Yeah I do. Maia, Maia Rutledge nice to meet you. *smiles*

Nice to meet you Maia, I'm Paige Matthews. Do you mind if I sit with you a while? I could use a bit of a break from all the ~~sex~~ poetry

*Paige looks slightly guilty* No it's ok, just don't mention you saw me to any of the teachers ok? I don't wanna get kicked out. I was just sort of taking a personal day on friday. I'll be back on Monday, *Paige pauses* probably. Have I missed anything interesting?

*Paige looks annoyed a second* Damn it I always miss the good stuff. I've seen a few weird people about, not sure I've seen any pirates though.

*Paige picks up the bag of muffins* Want one?

*grins* yes thank you. *yanks an apple one* So *smiles* tell me about yourself *sly grin as though she knows alot about you already*

*Paige thinks a minute trying to decide exactly one information to give, given the wierdness of the school she decides on the most interesting thing*

*Paige takes out a chocolate muffin and starts eating it quickly since she's hardly eaten since yesterday*

*Paige thinks for a few moments* Draco's sweet and everything and I like him a lot, but, but, well he's only a kid and then when Geoff moved here and read some of his poetry to me, I don't know *Paige looks at the floor* he's just so cute and talented and well he's a grown man!

*She looks up at Maia* I will work out who I really want to be with it's just sort of...complicated! For a start Geoff might well want to burn if I tell him I'm a witch.

*Paige bursts into tears* I'm so fucked up!

*comes around the side of the table* Hey, hey Paige... *hugging you* its ok. Your not, your just confused *hugs you tighter* its ok. I wont tell him, I wont tell either of them.

*Paige hugs you back, sniffles a bit and takes a deep breath trying to compose herself*

*She smiles weakly* Yeah I guess I am, I mean Draco was the first magic person I met here, so maybe that's why I like him so much? And Geoff's so, so charming and old fashioned and intelligent.

*Looking at Maia* Would it really be so bad if I went out with them both? You know just til I decided who I liked best? *Paige looks hopeful*

*shakes head* I dont think that is a good idea. *frowns* what if they find out, I am not going to tell *says quickly* but, what if they find out. Draco is magical, what if he can read minds too? I mean, I am looking at you and can see the warfare in your head through your eyes. What if he can too?

*Paige smiles weakly again and shakes her head* No Draco can't read minds, he'd have dumped me already if he could.
*Paige finishes the muffin*
I should probably get back, Geoff'll be wondering what happened to me.

*Paige stands up* I will decide you know, I just have to work a few other things out first

*nods* I know you will. It was nice to meet you.

*Paige smiles slightly* Yeah you too, I guess I'll see you back at school
