Saturday afternoon

I woke up late thanks to a most enjoyable night of margaritas and conversation with mrsvandekamp and bridekiddo. It was honestly the most fun I've had with "the girls" since Abbie and Donna and Amy and I used to sit around and shed our jobs and just talk.

Since I am without a car for the forseeable future, I think I'll take a walk through the park and wander a bit around town. So many new businesses have opened up. I think if I cut up through the park and then make my way back through town towards Perkolator to grab a latte and maybe a bite to eat, then I can get back in time to feed Gail, take a long bubble bath, and read my new book. My bathroom is so pleasant and peaceful now, especially with the lovely perfume of orchids. *sigh* I must thank the Doctor for such a lovely and thoughtful gift.

*Suddenly thinking more about the Doctor than her afternoon excursion, she dresses in mint green yoga pants, white scoop-neck tee, and a matching mint green hoodie. She pulls her hair back in a loose ponytail, ties on her cross trainers, drops her keys and small wallet in her pocket, and sets out*

((as we never got around to CJ seeing the TARDIS, I doubt she'd recognize it, so unless she meets the Doctor someplace in the park or in town, she wouldn't really even know where to begin. Have fun being social, and maybe they will bump into each other))
