Early Monday Morning - The Coffee Shop

janet_fraser, call_me_red_ac(ooc - Paige cos the tag wasn't showing on my computer) walk into the coffee shop for breakfast, Paige looks tired but excited, Angela looks slightly worried, Janet seems fine.

I've had nothing to eat but muffins all weekend. I'm about ready to pass out, some men are so useless! *Paige grins*

It's justgeoff_chaucer, Have you met him yet? His place is a total mess, he has no food or anything. I'm really gonna have to do something about it

No, I haven't actually been into town before now. I just keep ordering groceries off the internet. I've been keeping pretty busy. So are you and he...? *smiles sympathetically at the blush*

*Paige smiles* Yeah me too, I mean there's no store here how useless is that? I was on my way to the pub actually, he'd just moved here and yes *Paige grins* we're courting only I've not told pure_blooddraco yet. So don't mention it to anyone til I've seen him ok?

*Angela comes back from the counter with two large lattes and bagels for her and Paige and sets them down on the table.*

"Sorry, Janet, I wasn't sure what to get for you."

She turns to Paige. "Yeah, the dining options in town kind of suck. But ... so are you off Draco and onto Geoff now?"

Actually Geoff didn't seem to mind about me seeing Draco, but well now I've met him Draco seems sort of *Paige thinks a minute* immature

*Paige grins again* Oh Angela, he's wonderful, he's so sweet and sensitive, he reads me poetry! and he's gorgeous!

"He soudns awesome, I'm so happy for you," Angela says, genuinely happy for her friend. "I hope telling Draco doesn't go too badly."

Yeah me too, Geoff seemed pretty worried he'd challenge him to a duel or something. I'm sure Draco will be fine *Paige says trying to convince herself* I mean we've not spent that much time together.

Geoff was asking about my friends last night, you should both come by his shop to meet him, I think he thinks I'm hiding him away or something *Paige laughs*

*Paige smiles hands them some money* I really need to sit down would you get me a large latte and *she thinks a moment* well anything other than muffins really.

*She goes over to the table before the collapses

Coffee! Paige, I knew there was a reason I liked you. I'm desperate for coffee this morning. *gets back up and heads for the espresso machine* I'll be back when I have my mocha. And I'll grab your latte too.

"Thanks for coming out this morning," Angela tells Janet. "I really needed the break."

"No problem." Janet smiles. "You okay? God knows, I needed to get off campus for a while. It got...intense this weekend."

Angela smiles, subdued. "Yeah, in more ways than one. I think the squid monster may have been the more normal part. I'm fine, just ... boy stress."

Maybe we should go for a girls night out, check out the cute bartender at the pub?

Angela shakes her head. "Thanks, but ... I don't think I'm in the mood to flirt, you know? Some other time."

"Oh, God, the squid monster," says Janet, shuddering. "I don't ever want to see that thing again. How did you get stuck encountering it?"

"I felt like I owed Parker one. I STILL don't understand exactly what we helped her do, though." Angela swirls her coffee, thinking.

"It seemed ... friendly, considering. Not that I've met a lot of tentacle monsters. We don't have them in Pittsburgh."

[OOC: You're also Dru, right? Or am I hopelessly confused?]

I've managed to avoid it so far. So who if we have a girls night in? I always have wine *Paige grins*

"You owed Parker one so you--went to find the giant squid?" Janet sounds hopelessly confused. "Oh, wait, was this part of that whole thing? With Cameron, and with Crichton?"

She shakes her head. "So you're from Pittsburgh? How do you like it there?"

OOC: And yes, I also play Dru. *giggles helplessly* I'm trying not to let Dru's knowledge and Janet's knowledge intermix, though, and she was busy partying when everyone was taking Cam to see Dru and the squid.
