*Jonathan is walking around town, having just come out of a shop to buy a new ingredient from CVS for his fear toxin.* ((OOC: What? There HAS to be one somewhere.))

Finally, maybe I'll actually finish it this time.

*He decides to take a longer path than usual through the park in order to get back to campus*

Aziraphale can be spotted talking to Mister Vandemar (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/61985.html?view=1596705#t1596705) of The Old Firm down near the duck pond in the park.

*Jonathan notices Aziraphale out of the corner of his eye and wonders whether to stop and talk or continue walking. In a moment of hesitation, he decides that it would certainly be more rewarding to procrastinate on his homework, and wanders off the path towards the duck pond* Good day *He greets the angel*

Good day, Mr. Crane. Lovely evening, isn't it?

*The ducks swim back over to the near side of the pond, and Aziraphale leans down and throws them some bread.*

Are you on your way somewhere, or just taking a walk in the park?

*Aziraphale gives Jonathon a very pleasant smile, as if he has had a particularly good day.*

Indeed, with a clear sky and crisp breeze, what more could one ask for?

*He takes a moment to look down at the pond*

I took a small trip to CVS for some supplies.

*Jonathan surprisingly isn't surprised by the smile, in fact, he returns it. There was something about his plans coming into fruition that made him happy*

CVS? *looks slightly puzzled, but sees the bag Jonathon is carrying* Ah, one of the shops.

*hoping to make conversation for a while, as he has so few visitors these days, Aziraphale takes a chance and asks about the 'supplies'*

Are they for a class?

Yes. *clears throat*

Not exactly...it's something I've been playing around with for some time. I'm hoping it can count as extra credit or something.

Oh, I certain that the teachers here will be happy to reward extra effort on the part of any of their students. The ones I've met thus far have been very personable.

You should take care walking about town alone at night, however. There have been some...dangerous things about lately.

I have heard. But I am more than capable of taking care of myself. It's all in manipulating the mind *He taps his head*

Either way, it probably is not prudent to wander around for too long alone. I wasn't planning on making this a particularly long walk.

*shows a bit of concern at 'manipulating the mind', but doesn't say anything about it*

Perhaps someone should begin some sort of escort service, for students who need to out late at night. *smiles at Jonathon, as though hoping that he'll take up the call to provide such a helpful service*

Hmm, perhaps I can bring this concern up. After all, now that we're not allowed to have weapons, it is mighty dangerous at night. *He smiles* Myess, I shall most certainly have to brainstorm this.

*smiles brightly*

How thoughtful of you! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. After all, as my shop is right here near the park, it would be quite convenient for me to assist any students who felt reluctant to travel back to the school alone.

*is thoughtful for a brief moment*

I would, of course, be more than happy to walk with you back to the dormitories if you like.

That would be lovely. Even if it isn't a full moon, I'd much rather know that these supplies will make it back to the dorm safe and sound *He grins*

*Aziraphale isn't sure he likes the look of the grin, and decides it would be a good idea to keep an eye on this student*

As I am not part of the faculty, I'm not allowed on school grounds, but I can walk with you as far as the campus entrance.

*stands to escort Jonathon across town*

Of course, I should be safe on campus with the rover shimmering around. *He smiles, oblivious to the fact that Aziraphale has made it his personal duty to keep an eye on him*

The rover? Does he work with the police force? I have seen them around town a bit more frequently lately.

Yeah, he's mostly our on-campus security. You know, so that we don't end up killing ourselves. But lately he has been helping the police with some investigations.
