*She walks in looking nervous, wondering if the thing with the blindfold was really such a good idea*

No classes today?
*He walks over and gives her a kiss.*

*She looks down at the floor* So we're still ok right?
no subject
Why would we not be okay?

You haven't scared me off. Maybe surprised me a little, but I think I can handle a surprise now and then.
There's coffee and some cookies, if you want some. I have something I want to talk to you about, but I think first I should talk to the pretty lady who just came in. *grins and winks at Paige*

*In the back of mind Paige wonders if Geoff is trying to make her jealous, or if all guys from the 14th century are like this*

"Er...excuse me? Somevun mentioned you might need an assistant?" She gives Chaucer a small smile as she looks around the place. "Um, I'm not qvite sure exactly vhat it is you vould like help *vith,* but I can provide samples of my vurk, if you vould like?"

"Vell, let's see...I've had basic instruction in drawing, and have taught myself since then (vell, using master drawings and examples.) I've also had some experience vith illuminated manuscript, though I don't know if many people here vould be in need of that." She smiled before continuing. "Oh, and I'm more than villing to vurk for commission, and that is entirely negotiable. I'm more interested in the experience at this point, rather than the monetary compensation."
no subject
You have experience with illumination? Well, you may be right that there won't be much call for it here, but it's impressive all the same. And, I do have a commission I'm working on now that your skills would certainly help with.
May I look through the samples you brought?

"Yes, I do, though I'm afraid it's been
centuriesqvite some time since I've had the chance to actually finish an illumination. I love all the same, though."She pauses to dig through her bag, and pulls out a small portfolio.
"I'm afraid vhat I have vith me is rather limited, and not the best by far, but...vell, have a look."

I'm afraid some of these are rather poor photographs, but I think they get the idea across vell enough. I hope they are up to standard?

These really are very good! *smiles* May I have the pleasure of your name?

"Thank you very much! Oh, yes, I suppose I should have introduced myself. Sonia Belmont, at your service."
[ooc: And I'm off again, but heading home, so I should have more regular access. Sorry for the long delays!]

I, um, I kinda need a poet.
no subject
[OOC: Do you mind if we say that this is taking place earlier than this obnoxiously long thread going on above? Would really help preserve my sanity! :D]
no subject
Well, there's this guy, Bagoas. And I need something for him.
*gets kinda stuttery*
no subject
And what would the purpose of the poem be? Are you trying to get him to let you court him, thanking him for something, just letting him know how you feel about him...?
no subject
Have you seen him?
*rolls eyes* How could you miss him? He's the prettiest thing in the town.
no subject
So, then this would be a love poem, along the lines of how beautiful you think he is? Is he aware of you, or is this intended to capture his attention?
no subject
*grin*
He's pretty aware of me.
*doesn't bother to explain, but loosens up*
And if you could work something in about wanting to show him the stars, that'd be great.
I already tried. You don't want to know how bad of a poet I am. Songmaking never ran hard in my clan.
