After work, at the pub...
Shane sits in a booth in the very back, a cigarette in one hand and a beer (the first of quite a few) in the other. She takes a sip and then places it on the table in front of her, watching the drops of condensation slip down the sides. She takes a deep drag from her cigarette and exhales the smoke in a sigh.
With her free hand, she reaches up and pulls the ponytail holder out of her hair, wincing a bit as a couple of strands of hair come out with it. She stuffing the ponytail holder into her pocket and scratches a hand through her hair. She's not working but she doesn't want to go home.
She probably wouldn't be able to sleep, anyway.
