::comes in early and spots Elizabeth finishing her conversation with Jayne::
Good afternoon, Elizabeth. Have you been well since last we met?
(OOC to Elizabeth: I lost 'net connection for several hours this afternoon/evening, and I need to head to bed now, but we can continue this tomorrow if that's alright.)

*After she wraps up her meeting with Jayne, she walks over to Hank's table* Hello, Hank. I have been well, I trust you have, as well?

Now, if you decide to choose me as your fantastical beau, I believe that there are three methods by which we could horrify your father, all in the theme of "Beauty and the Beast".
The first would have me present myself as an absolutely proper young gentleman, who would be an ideal prospect, if I wasn't "sure" that all our children would look like me. And we want many, many children, of course. ::grins::
The second would be the extreme antithesis, wherein I would be as rude, crude and, well, beastial as possible. I'm certain that a slavering, inhuman man-beast would dissuade your father. Unfortunately, it might also be enough to cause him to withdraw you from the school.
The third method would take a middle path, in which I present myself as not only of beastial appearance, but also of common nature. To whit, I would be slightly grimy from machine oil and sweat, wearing stained or patched clothing. The seeming would be that of a low-born laborer trying to make a favorable impression on the father of his fianceƩ, yet not quite cleaning up well enough.
What are your thoughts with regards to these suggestions, Elizabeth?

While all three of those suggestions are quite good, I would probably side with the first or the third. I think the first would work the best because he would not be able to use money and upbringing against you. *grins* Oh, I do so love this idea.

Let me know the place and time and I shall arrive in full, noble splendor. I believe that this shall be quite entertaining, don't you?
