Saturday evening at Chaucer's.

Sonia enters Chaucer's, expecting to find the shop empty. Instead, she sees Chaucer, Paige, and a third girl she recognizes but doesn't know.

She gives them a sheepish smile as she sets her things down at her desk. I really do have the vurst timing.

"I'm...not interrupting anything, am I? Only I can come back later..."

Sonia blushes and smiles back at Paige. "Sorry. I've got horrible timing for this, I svear."

She turns back to her desk, flips on the lamp, and gets to work on her latest project.

"Evening, Sonia." Geoff smiles at his new assistant, leaning around Paige, who is seated on his lap. "Don't worry, if we didn't want to be interrupted we'd go upstairs. How have you been?"

Sonia smiles back. "Hallo, Geoff! Oh, here..." She rummages in her bag, and pulls out what's finished of the coat-of-arms. (http://www.rydia.net/grimmart/malfoycrestsketch2.jpg) "I made the changes you suggested, and added a bit more, erm, decoration. If it's good, I'll start on the finished version?"

She sits back down at the desk and rubs at her injured arm. "Oh, I'm doing vell enough- still a little sore after last veekend. How...you vere alright here, weren't you? No...no zombie invasions?"

Geoff kisses Paige and gets up from the chair, going over to Sonia's worktable to inspect the drawing. "Sonia, that's excellent! Please, go ahead and start on the finished version."

He casts an amused look over at Paige at the mention of the zombies. "Actually, I wasn't even in town. I was being kept secluded in safety at Paige's student residence. So I missed the whole thing. I hope you weren't hurt."

Sonia smiles as she busies herself pulling out inks and nib pens. "Thank you! I'll get started on that right avay."

She smiles then at Paige before turning back to her work. "You're *very* lucky then- things got a bit...messy. But most of us came avay relatively unscathed, considering...vell, everything." She indicates the bandages wrapped around her left arm. "A burn and a bullet wound, but it's healing fast, and it doesn't hurt so much anymore as itch."

[OOC: Sonia isn't coming in until evening, so we can either say that Paige and Geoff are there hanging out, or that Paige is somewhere else and it's just Geoff.]

(ooc- well he should have thought of that shouldn't he? She'll keep herself busy with school stuff when he has to work and she does have classes, she might just start skipping some in favour of naked Geoff time)

Sora walks over to Chaucer's shop looking for Sonia, to be honest he wasn't even sure what she looked like. He takes a deep breath before sticking his head in through the door and looking around. "Ahh.. hello?"


[Sorry posting so late. My mom took me to see Corpse Bride since we were moving stuff all day. ^^; ]

The shop is empty aside from Sonia, who is bent over her drawing desk. She looks up from her work when Sora enters, and gives him a smile.

"Hallo! Erm. You must be Sora?"

[OOC: Agh, sorry! Was doing homework and didn't check my mail. Still up, if you are. :D]

He smiles bright seeing someone there, he was a little nervous and it showed. Sora grins sheepishly as he walks all the way into the store and rubs his neck. "Ahh yeah... Hi!" He stutters slightly and goes over to the desk. "And you must be Sonia" He smiles brightly and holds out his hand, not sure what else to do.

Sonia stands as Sora approaches, and grasps his hand in a friendly handshake. "Hi! Yes, the vould be me." She smiled again, and gestured towards one of the spare chairs in the shop. "Vould you like to sit down? Or did you vant to go somevhere more...sociable? I'm finished her for the night, either vay."

Sora shrugs and smiles sitting down. "Either is fine with me." He says as he looks around the shop. "This place is pretty cool, what do you guys do here?" He asks smiling and blushes slightly as he realizes how ignorant he probably sounds.

Sonia smiles and sits down as well. "Hah, yes, I suppose this place is a bit...um, cryptic, isn't it? I'm going to have to finish that sign for the door... Vell, Mr. Chaucer- er, Geoff- is a poet, and does commissioned vurks. I'm something of his assistant, but I also take artistic commissions- illustrations, illuminations, and right now, a coat-of-arms." She gestures to the drawings laid out on her desk. "Basically, anything one might need drawn up, I can do."

She fidgets a bit, wiping ink from her fingers with a small cloth. "So...vhat about you? I've seen you around the school, but I don't think ve ever got a chance to meet before."
