Early Morning in Town

It was early, just after day break, misty fog still low. Maia walked along the foot path slowly on the nature trail. She loved early morning walks.

*Paige slips out of bed early leaving Geoff to sleep a little longer, she too excited to sleep so goes for a walk*

Hey Maia *she grins* How's Sara?

Maia smiles back. "She's much better thank you. Slept the entire night, no coughing, no fever. How is Geoff?"

*Paige bits her lip and takes a deep breath* He's good thanks, I've left him sleeping.

*she looks at Maia* I'm moving in with him today

Maia stops and her mouth falls open "Really?" She smiles. "Wow!"

*She smiles again* Yeah he asked me on Friday, it's all kinda fast, but I'm really happy about it.

*She looks at Maia confused at herself* I wrote him a poem! I don't know what got into me!

"You wrote him a poem." Maia smiles romantically. "That is so romantic to write a poem for a poet." Maia stops to think for a minute. "What did Piper and Phoebe say?"

*Paige grins* Yeah he said no one had every writen one for him before. I've spoken to Piper about it and she's totally cool about the whole thing, Phoebe's still away so I've not had chance to talk to her. I mean I'll be up at the school all the time, and I was with Geoff most nights anyway. So it's not gonna be that much of a difference

Maia nods quietly at the mention of Phoebe's name. "Yeah I think its great though, that your living together I mean. That is amazing. I think he is so nice, a terrible tease but loads of fun."

Maia grins at Paige. "Indeed." Maia laughs "And hilarious at cards I might add. Pity we were not playing for money. Though I dare say he won't bet money against me. I told him about Vegas" Maia starts laughing again. "I think we'd make a fortune there."

*she laughs* I should go back, I don't want him to wake up while I'm gone
