It's wonderful. *She notices a girl across the place and smiles in her direction* It seems like I always know someone here. Plus, they have fabulous coffee, and good food.
*Sits at a table* You need to get out more, Tony. It can't be good being cooped up at the club all the time.
*Tony smiles* I would get out more, but I have a lot of business to attend, and well, I don't know a lot of folks here yet. But so far the ones I have met are pretty nice.
So what is good here? I trust you to do the ordering, you have a good head on your shoulders. *sits back, relaxed and content*
((wow! that is a day and a half trip where I am from! glad you are home safe. :) ))
And how do you think that will go, seems to me that teenagers have issues with obedience and authority. *thinks a bit* Then again, so do many adults. *chuckles*
I'm hoping it'll go well. I'd like them to question the reasons behind obedience, and the ways people communicate using trust and influence to gain obedience. My lessons build on themselves.
*Takes another bite*
But I'm sure you don't want to hear about boring school stuff. I'd like to hear more about Jersey.
I run a clean business, ma'am, I'm not lookin' for trouble, just a place to do some business. And there is a quiet relaxing air I like here in the hinterlandssuburbs.
*escorts you to the counter and orders another round of the sandwich to go, with all the goods, and some sort of dessert as well, for two. He pays and then hands you the bag of lunch. he puts out his arm for you and leads you to the exit*
Thank you, you make me feel like just a normal joe, and that is valuable to me. You know where to find me if you need me. And I hope to see you in Mass. Maybe your Doctor would join us for lunch one of these Sundays.
Well, that's what I think...and I call it straight. You're good to me, and I don't think I'm supposed to know this, but I do. You were good to Deb at the diner and got the place fixed right up.
*She holds his arm tightly, but in a totally appropriate way*
I look forward to seeing you. If not before, then on Sunday. But I think it will be a miracle if Ten ever joins us.

I used to know some guys...in Hollywood. I don't know what they did, but they knew how to show a girl a good time.
*Sips her coffee*
Relaxing, huh?

Drinks the last of his coffee and watches CJ as she peers over her cup at him.

After the White House, I suppose I'd call it relaxing here too.
*Sips*
What did you think of Mass today? The Father was...so lucid.

I need to get going. I promised the Doctor I'd bring him lunch. You said that sandwich was good?
no subject
May I see you back to your... phone? And I would be honored to buy the Doctor lunch, that is who you are taking lunch home to?
no subject
He's...not a Mass kind of guy. But...
*She looks at Tony, wondering if she sould tell him.*
But I love him.

*smiles*
I'm happy for you then. Let's celebrate your that with me getting lunch for the lucky mope. *this is softened by the smile in his eyes.*

*Tony enjoys lunch and his delightful companion, pays for lunch and offers to walk his companion back to her... phonebooth.*
Have a good week, and I hope to see you in Mass. If not, take care.
*smiles at her, but no hand kissing this trip, he doesn't want to step on any toes.*
