In the CoffeeShop

Maia sits with a notepad in front of her, she was writing what looks like a very difficult letter.

I can't do it.. I have to, its the only way

Maia scratches out and turns the page.

Maia looks at Justins clothes "In the garden I see." Maia stands up and hugs Justin hello. "How did you sleep last night?"

"Wonderfully. Sara sent me a gardenia plant. Oh it made my room smell like heaven." Maia smiles "I stared at it until I fell asleep and then the gardenias turned into your garden, just amazingly so. It was all around me." Maia gushes all this out very fast and then blushes.

Maia bites her lip. "Did I say something wrong?" She frowns at Justin.

Maia sighs watching him for a moment. he would not tell me even if there was and there is something wrong. Maia closes her notebook she had been writing in, she looks down at her glass of iced tea and stirs it abscently.

"You look well rested." She said clearly realizing Justin will not expound on anything that is wrong. "Tell me Darling Justin, did you dream?"

Maia's eyebrow raised. "Always Africa huh?" she ignores the part about Tessa. It stung for some reason.

Maia watched Justin he seemed nervous today, not his usual self. Maia reached across the table. "Justin, whats the matter, really?" Maia touches his hand. "Tell me."

Maia smiles and accepts the change of topic for now. "For me? really?" Maia beams at this. "Nobody has ever planted flowers just for me." Maia is still smiling "Can I see them?"

Maia smiles. "I'll try, its difficult sometimes though she works a lot. We don't do a lot during the week. Usually on friday nights and weekends. But we will try to come yes. That is so sweet of you to ask her along."

Maia fiddles nervously with her napkin, "I-uh, well after that first night in the garden. I um, I didn't think you would want her around." Maia keeps her eyes down. "You were not exactly nice when I told you about her I mean."

Maia's hand stays on his cheek, she brushes her thumb across his lips. "I thought you were angry at me." Maia's hand stays remains there.

Maia's hand is burning from Justins kisses, her head is spinning our place

"I would love for that to happen thank you. It would be wonderful to show her where I spend my free time when I am not with her."

Maia's mouth falls open slightly, the kisses felt good but.."You love me?" Maia whispers. She starts to pull her hand back.

Maia lets out a breath, "oh yes ok, no she will be fine with you. I am sure she would love to see the garden at night." Maia smiles as she thinks to the cards and flowers she had sent to Sara that morning.
