Just coming from the Emporium (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/143221.html?thread=4448373#t4448373), the brothers drove by the candy shop, Yazoo looking intently in the windows before flagging Kadaj's attention and pointing. They circled and pulled up outside, Yazoo getting off his bike and leaving it running while the other two sat outside and rooted through their bag.

In the door, he nodded to the girl behind the counter and started wandering down the isles looking for something.

Maia nods back watching him. "Let me know if you need some help."

He smiled and kept looking until he found what he wanted. Selecting out several flavors of round lollipops until he had a small bunch, Yazoo kept wandering until he got to the jellybeans bin.

"Do you handle getting these or do I?" he asked looking to see if there were bags for self service or not.

"I do actually. Do you want bags for the different flavors or would you like them all mixed up?" Maia glances at the young man. "Do you go to the school?"

Yazoo shook his head, his silver hair swaying with the gentle movement. "No. Didn't know there was one here," he said slowly. "Mixed up is good."

Maia glanced curiously at him. "Which flavours would you like?" She has a bag in her hand. "Yeah there is, over on the edge of town actually, behind the gates. How old are you? Oh My name is Maia by the way. Sorry for not introducing myself."

"Yazoo," he said with a lazy smile. "And I don't know how old I am."

Leaning down to look at the selection, his hand automatically went to his back to adjust his gun and check it was still there. He tilted his head. "Can I have some of every kind?"

Maia steps back as he does this, her heart pounding in her ears. "S-sure you can." Maia steps cautiously around Yazoo to open up the jelly bean chute. "Are you from around here?" keep him talking, stay calm Maia's hand shakes slightly as she goes to the next flavour chute.

Yazoo stepped back so Maia could have room to get the jellybeans for him. He looked out the window to keep an eye on Loz and Kadaj. "New," he said, before bringing his attention back to what she was doing. He saw her hand lightly quiver and took another step back. "It's a small town."

Maia nods concentrating on the jelly beans. She finishes baging them and walks over behind the counter to tie the bag shut. "Thats going to be $6.96" Maia forces a smile and fights to keep the fear out of her voice. "I hope you like the town." Maia swallows hard.

"My brothers do, so I do." Yazoo placed the lollipops on the counter as well. "Did you get these, too?"

Maia glances down at the candy "Uh no, I didn't. Thats $9.00 even then." She cant help herself so she asks "Do you always like things just because they do?"

Putting the money down on the counter, Yazoo picked up his candy. His head tilted when he turned to the door and he gave her an enigmatic smile over his shoulder before he started toward it. "Maybe."

Maia breathing a sigh of relief that he was leaving smiled back. "Well maybe you can hate it here then sometimes" She said this lightly so that he knew she was kidding.

"Sometimes..." Yazoo said. He opened the door; Loz and Kadaj turned to see him and lifted their kickstands. With his bag, he waved to her. "Later...Maia."

He tucked his bag beneath his jacket and settled on his bike. Tearing off after his brothers, he gave Maia a nod before he disappeared.

Duce wanders in and smiles at Maia. "Hey Maia. We need help! We need chocolates as a prize-gift for tonight! What do you suggest?"

Maia thinks for a moment... "We have some really nice bourbon bonbon's or wine truffles"

"Great! We'll take a box of bourbon bonbons.. and we might as well throw in a heckuva lot more chocolate. Let's see..
2 boxes bourbon bonbons
5-1lb boxes mixed chocolates
5-1lb boxes truffles, mixed if you can do it

Sound ok? Just put it on my card, please. We'll need it for the debate thingy tonight." Duce grins, "They're doorprizes."

Maia bags up the order. Charges Duce's credit card 57.96 and wishes her luck with the door prizes.
