Maybe this will be a slow night for once.

He sets up behind the counter, waiting for business.

Yes, I'm Hank, but we know each other alre... ::confusion clears:: Ah. This is an "alternates" situation, isn't it. Do you phase through solid matter as well?

Kitty nods. "I think so. I know a Hank McCoy back home, but he's not you. I s'pose I should be used to this sort of thing by now, but it's still weird," she says. "And yes, I do."

There were some rough-looking people out by the fountain earlier, but other than that, it's been as calm as FH and the environs get.

I doubt it, as I have homework that I should finish before Homecoming. I assume that Chloe or someone will tape it, however.

Caffeine will help her get through the debates, Angela thinks. "Hi. Could I have a large coffee, black? And -" she surveys the cae of baked goods "-A double chocolate cookie."

Angela checks her watch. She still has some time to kill.

"Hi, Hank. I think I'll stay here," she says. "What do I owe you?"

Angela fishes in her wallet and pulls out exact change. She looks happily at the plate and mug.

"Thanks. I should come here more often."

Rory sees Angela, and nudges her. "Hey, you need company? I was just going to go straight to Logan's, but i's still kind of early."

"Eh, I left truth and justice for dead around back. Haven't seen my sole missing book yet, either." Edward seats himself. "What's going on with you? Haven't seen you in a while."

The usual FH insanity; some kid lit me on fire, I rescued a friend with alcohol poisoning, some of my fur is invisible. You know: just day-to-day things. ::wry grin::

Veronica decides to stop by the coffee shop to visit Hank. She is still slightly embarrassed about the panic attack she had the other night when they hung out.

She enters the shop and waves to Hank as she takes her regular table.

I thought Homecoming was Saturday night, but yes, Hank'll be there, flying solo. He's promised a dance to Chiana, however.
