Spike's Pub [Thursday Evening]

Sawyer lights up the sign that says 'OPEN', opening the door to the pub, he creeps behind the bar;luckily having a nice new carton of cigarettes and is persumely smoking them down right this moment.

After his foray to the junkyard, Kadaj spent most of his day hidden in the park, thinking. No closer really to any answers, he gave it up.

He decided to take a turn by the Pub again. If the girl was there again, Kadaj would pass again. As long as the Pub opened, as Spike indicated, he wouldn't worry about it.

Bike parked around back, Kadaj headed down the hallway toward the Pub main and stopped in the doorway to see the guy from the previous night (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomtownies/169106.html?thread=5582994#t5582994).

Sawyer seemed busy so Kadaj slipped in and hung at the back, taking up a table in the corner to watch the room and the bartender at work. He would call Yazoo and Loz later, telling them to meet at Spike's. If Sawyer didn't need help, then they may take a ride beyond the outskirts of town.

"What're you doing here, then?" Spike's voice came from directly beside the younger man. "Run out of folk to terrorize so quickly or just bored to tears?"

That Spike was able to sneak up behind Kadaj was no mean feat. Naturally observant and easily suspicious, he usually was able to sense someone coming, feel their presence like a lover's kiss on the back of his neck.

He never heard nor sensed Spike coming up from behind.

The table teetered precariously when Kadaj knocked it on his way out of his chair. Once he was standing and turned to face Spike, Kadaj's expression smoothed out to one of apathy. No. He hadn't been startled. Not at all. Nope.

"Bored," Kadaj said, his shoulders shrugged casually and he tried to keep his breathing even.

"Then let's find something to do." Spike waved to get the attention of the 'barkeep'. "Goin' out. Keep an eye on things, eh?"

Something with Spike. Now this ought to be fun. Kadaj shifted to get a look at the bartender and then he smiled. "Something specific in mind?"

"Nothin' major," Spike grimaced, heading for the 'employees only' exit. "I do have to live here, you know. So to speak."

"Nothing embarrassing," Kadaj said to the back of Spike's head. "My bike is parked out back." But then, Spike probably already knew that.

If all else failed, he would take Spike out for a ride (http://www.livejournal.com/users/ac_brothers/1554.html). Very few people don't like going fast. Something about the adrenaline...

Duce glided into the pub, an unconscious ease to her movements. Glancing around the room, she heads for the bar and orders something vile.
