Shane opens the door and notices the fluttering of the sign out of the corner of her eye. She leans out for a moment, eyes scanning the page, and then looks at Rory, arching an eyebrow. "Um... who's Lockheed?"

"Oh...Kitty's dragon," Rory explains, laughing.

She's holding three cartons of ice cream, an overnight bag, a pillow, and and a box labeled 'Twister' on her hip. "Kitty's this freshman who I invited," she adds. "Total sweetheart. And Lockheed's harmless."

Paige walks up and hears this, "dragon I think," She smiles "I can't stay long, sorry."

((need an early night and if I let Paige be NPCed she'll end up alone in a corner!))

Shane considers that information for a moment and then nods. "Cool. So long as nobody gets toasted," she says with a grin as she reaches out. "Here, lemme help you..."

"No one female will be toasted," Rory promises. "I can't promise anything for the crashers." She allows Shane to take the ice cream, shifting her remaining cargo slightly to her other hip.

"Oh, hey!" Shane says brightly as she sees Paige headed up the steps. "Hey." She leans over and gives Paige a peck on the cheek. "You might as well have good time while you're here, right?"

Paige smiles and holds up a bottle of whiskey she found at Geoff's, "That's the plan. I figure I'll replace this before he gets back." Paige bites her lip a moment it's going to be ok she tells herself

Paige smiles and Rory, "I wasn't sure I'd be in the mood, but I figure company's always good right?"

"Always a fun experience," Rory says, smiling and beckoning her in.

"So you think there'll be crashers?" Shane says, eyebrow arching. With the cartons of ice cream nestled in her arms, she takes a step back into the suite, inclining her head, silently inviting Rory and Paige to join her.

Rory follows. "There'll be Johnina, of course," Rory says, smirking. "John has assured me he's been laughed at before. And beyond that, I don't know."

"Right on," Shane says, chuckling. Her hand still resting on Paige's shoulder, she gives it a careful squeeze. "It'll be soon."

"Exactly," Rory nods, smiling. "Besides, a little naked Twister and subtextomg girl-bonding never hurt anyone."

Paige nods, "Yeah I know, just not soon enough."

"I don't think I've had the pleasure," Shane says in regards to 'Johnina', chuckling as she heads into the kitchen to put the ice cream away. As she opens it, she sees that the carton of ice cream that Rory brought over to the last party is still in the freezer, untouched.

She looks over at Rory, an apologetic look on her face. "Sorry, it's -- it's not that I don't... well, I don't... but... it was still nice of you," she manages.

"I know," Shane murmurs, slipping her arm around Paige's shoulders and giving her a hug. "For right now... let's just work on you having a good time. Okay?"

"Nah," Rory says, waving a hand dismissively. "You're on-timeish."

Rory laughs, hopping up to perch on the counter. "I'm used to having girl nights with my mom," she explains, "and we usually do ice cream and marshmallows and tater tots...and just pretty much the worst food we can. I figured we'll have enough girls that ice cream wouldn't hurt, at least."
