Shane opens the door and notices the fluttering of the sign out of the corner of her eye. She leans out for a moment, eyes scanning the page, and then looks at Rory, arching an eyebrow. "Um... who's Lockheed?"

"Oh...Kitty's dragon," Rory explains, laughing.

She's holding three cartons of ice cream, an overnight bag, a pillow, and and a box labeled 'Twister' on her hip. "Kitty's this freshman who I invited," she adds. "Total sweetheart. And Lockheed's harmless."

Paige walks up and hears this, "dragon I think," She smiles "I can't stay long, sorry."

"Hey there!" Rory says, grinning and opening the door. "What's new and cool in the land of Cally?"

Kitty smiles when she reads the sign. Entering, she says to Lockheed, "Ok, dragon, you've got duties. Keep out the guys!"

::Lockheed snorts in agreement and finds a perch near the door.::

"Hello," she says to Rory.

Angela waves to Kitty and Lockheed.

"Hi Kitty, how have you been?" she asks.

Angela knocks on the door, smiling at the sign. She's carrying a bag of doritos and a fistful of CDs.

When Shane opens the door, she smiles. "Angela," she says, her tone almost chastening, "you don't have to knock on my door."

After her meeting with the Dean and any discussions occuring after, Beka arrives at Amber House looking fondly at the place that will very soon be her home.

She hangs back, watching the conversations in progress, hoping that the several bottles of Vodka and Tequila she's toting won't be unwelcome.

Seeing another new arrival standing in the doorway, Shane heads over. "Hey, Beka," she says, voice reflecting a surprising warmth.

She can tell by her body language that she's feeling awkward, uncertain of how she'll be received. Even though they've only spoken to each other a couple of times, she never wants anyone to ever feel unwelcome in her home.

"Hey, Beka!" Rory says, grinning. She strides over to her. "Ooh...you brought goodies," she exclaims, eyeing the alcohol.

Kiki knocks on the door.

"Hi, Rory? I have a delivery for you. Could you please sign here?"

Kitty hands Shane the carton. "Something light, please? I haven't really had much alcohol in, um, ever."

"Ever?" Shane says, brow arching just slightly as she takes the ice cream. "Wow." She's not the type to really get into other people's business, though, so she presses on. "So... just take it easy on you or don't take you at all?" She asks with a smirk.

Tara stands outside the door, listening to the sounds of the party for a few moments before she takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.

Rory opens the door. "Hi! You're...you're going to be my ethics teacher, aren't you?" she says, tilting her head. "Come on in."

Hearing the knocking, Shane drags herself up off of the couch and hurries over to the door. When she opens it, she smiles, surprised to see Chloe. "Hey!" She says. "How are you?"

Margarita time!

Shane heads into the kitchen and pulls the mixer CJ had bought for her (and that Ten had put together for her) down out of the cabinet and plugs it in.

Pulling down a few bottles of various liquor as well as a tub of margarita salt, she pours the ingredients into the blender (going very lightly on the tequila) along with a double-handful of ice from the freezer tray.

Very happy from margaritas and almost completely *not* missing Marty, Angela makes her way to the door of Shane's suite.
