Spike's Pub - Open
The brothers rolled through town. There was something on the air, tension, aggression, floating in thin layers just above their heads, lost in the clouds.
Things were quiet for most of the day and after suffering through boredom outside, they figured they could suffer inside just as well. A pass by Spike's didn't show the sign lit nor the door open so being dutiful 'employees' (which Yazoo seemed to find quite amusing), they parked around back, went in the back door and turned the sign to say 'OPEN'.
Their first night behind the bar. Kadaj smiled. It should be fun.

He and Yazoo exhanged glances and Yazoo went to wait on another customer to let Kadaj handle this one. The look on her face was almost familiar.
Loz almost stepped forward but a small hand gesture from Kadaj waved him off and with a small scowl, moved to the end of the bar to sit.
He leaned against the bar and gave her a small smile. "Hello. Can I get you something to drink?"

The three men are moving together, dancing apart, as familiar with each other as they are with breathing. Drusilla smiles. Sharp like a knife blade, cutting and slicing with beautiful precision or slashing great, jagged gashes to let entrails pour over the walls.
OOC: Your userinfo is a big help, as I'm not familiar with your fandom. Thank you! As a seeress, any problems with Dru psychically picking up some of that info?

[ooc-Thanks! In my fandom circles, their story is well known, but playing among TV/Movie/Series fans, I’m having to come from a bit further behind.
As for her picking up any of the information, please do. If anyone can in this game, she would be the one.

True to thought, as Kadaj dug around in the cooler he found bags, clearly labeled. Spike A Positive (Not for Angelus even if he begs). He remembered what Spike did the other morning to the one he drank and finding the right container to warm it in, Kadaj repeated it to the letter.
Of course, the instructions were right there...
When the microwave made a cheery ~ding~, he poured it into a wine glass and set it on a square napkin in front of her.

"And Loz," Kadaj hooked his thumb over his shoulder to the largest of the three, holding the wall up at the end of the bar. "Spike was nice enough to give us work while we are in town."

Kadaj's expression softened and he smiled ever so briefly. Angelus and/or Spike might have told her, if this was the her. Still, the lead fist sat heavily in his gut.
There was something knowning in her smile.
The change might as well been telegraphed in large letters with fanfare, for both brothers turned to watch Kadaj talking with the young woman. And they too relaxed when he did, going back to their tasks to leave them to talk. If Kadaj had need, they would be there in a flash. Until then, they wouldn't interfere.
"A way to put it, yes," he said after a moment's silence. "Lost."
ooc-sorry he's so closed off and uncommunicative. He's trying to keep things close to his vest until he's sure she's who he thinks she is.

Kadaj was almost certain by this time she was the one Spike talked about on their ride the other night (http://www.livejournal.com/users/ac_brothers/1554.html). 'Almost' was not positive. He leaned in to rest his elbows on the bar, fingers clasped together. His pinkies tapped at the bar top for a few times while he watched her. “So, you’re a good friend of Spike’s?”

ooc- I hate to go but I must hit the sack or my brains will leak out of my nose. Keep playing, in slow mode? *asked hopefully* Have been wanting to play with Drusilla ever since I saw her in the game. I hate to wreck my chances now!

He moved across the room, leaning to kiss her cheek in greeting. "Evening, my beautiful one." He glanced down at her glass. "I'll have what she's having, barkeep."

Yazoo looked up long enough to see Spike, nod and went back to looking after the rest of the patrons at the bar, few that there were.
When Spike sat down, Kadaj pushed up from the bar and went to the refrigerator to get Spike's drink. Microwave, ~ding~ and into a glass, then slid it in front of Spike.

"I've missed you as well, love." He smiled at her fondly, sliding an arm around her waist. "Don't let me interrupt your conversation. I'll ask you about your day later."

OOC: Sorry, all, Dru was running detention all day and Dru's mun had a busy RL too.
no subject
He was the best one to answer, however. Kadaj leaned against the bar with his hip and his arms spread in a shrug. "Home."
ooc-RL can be like that and read all the excitement in detention. Not a problem.

"Um. Yes. Just a...club soda. For now, please."

"Thank you."

"I'll do that, thank you," Wesley says, deciding to finish his drink before he decides.

[ooc-at this point you can continue your conversation with Jonathan below or engage Yazoo in more conversation. Up to you, I'm good with either. Just putting Yazoo in a place where withdrawing here isn't awkward.]

hello, is this seat taken?
no subject
"No. No, it isn't," he replies simply.

What are you taking?

strange that we haven't really met yet, seeing as we're in the same class. It's kind of a weird class isn't it?

So how's martial arts working out for you? I considered maybe trying it out, learning a thing or two about defense, but it seemed to have a lot of experienced people.
no subject
Wesley nods, taking a sip of the club soda the bar tender has brought him.
"It's going well. There are a number of experienced students in the class, but as long as you have a supportive sparring partner you can easily keep up."
Something occurrs to Wesley and he sets down his glass.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think I caught your name. Or gave you mine, for that matter."
He holds out his hand. "Wesley Wyndam-Pryce."

Jonathan Crane. It's umm, a pleasure to meet you.
Yeah, no pulse and I have reason to believe she's certifiable, and possibly psychic. *Jonathan shakes his head* Only at fandom high huh?
So do you live in the dorms? I was kind of worried about who I coud possibly be rooming with after seeing some of the students but I got lucky and I'm rooming with this really cool guy. You won't belive this but he's a wizard. Like a real live wizard. He carries a wand and does magic and everything. It's so cool. Is your roomate okay?
no subject
He hasn't put anything sharp through a wall, or divested anyone of their extremities, in any case.
"Yes, I had that concern as well. But my roommate's actually quite a nice chap. He's helping me keep my head above water in Diplomacy and Martial Arts.
"A wizard? Our age? That's impressive. Most of the young magic users I know are novices at best. But I suppose magic works differently in his dimension."
