Red is sort of but not really open today
Yawning, Red padded down the stairs. He was awoken by two hungry cubs and after feeding them, decided sleeping in wasn't going to happen. Some correspondance needed to be done and an order placed for supplies and business usually put off for the week was started on diligently while the cubs raced up and down the stairs between the flat and the shop in a noisy game of chase and tag.

Hearing someone come in the shop, the cubs tumbled down and skidded around the corner. They both slid to a stop at the counter end when they saw Duce. Unsure if she was still mad with them, they sat expectantly, practically vibrating in anticipation that she wasn't mad anymore, but they moved no further in toward her in case she was.

They bounded over to her, feet stepping on heads and tails, teeth chewing on ears as they both vyed for her attention and her gifts.
Red shook his head at the cubs and put his mouthstick down. "I've zeroed out the register if you would like to count the drawer and help me get the deposit ready."

"Couple of days actually. My accountant is going to kill me for letting it go so long," Red said with a grin. He picked up his mouthstick pen and holding to his order form, started to mark off the things he would need for the next month.

He placed his pen down since it did make it difficult to talk. "Yes, a Professor Jerusalem called me wanting gift certificates for small tattoos or henna art of a spider. I hope they will be used. It was a rather clever idea, I thought."

Shaking it off until she can talk to Oz, she grins, "His ego, it knows no bounds. Spiders?"

It doesn't take much to sway him to the idea, so a few moments later he finds himself pushing open the door to the shop and stepping in. "Hey, Red. Sorry I haven't stopped by sooner."

He leapt up onto his counter and with a quick kick, sent his tattoo notebook to the end so he could stretch out. "It's been quite comfortable lately. How is the campus?"

Red dropped his head over the counter to watch the cubs. “Castor and Pollux, are these two bundles of terror. And they’ll eat you out of every cookie in your pocket if you aren’t careful.”

He stretched out again, since the cubs were staying quiet. “I had heard the campus is quiet again. As a result, things have been quiet here in town as well. Makes me happy. This is a great little town.”
