Phoebe opens the door and waves Jayne in. On her bed are a few arrangements of black roses, and some threatening letters.

"I wanted to show you this. I've been getting threats the last couple of days. Not only are they threatening me because I won't move back into the dorms... but I'm worried that they might be threatening you as well."

Phoebe nods and smiles faintly.

"George and I both agreed that you can. I just don't like this and I'm scared." She frowns. "I've hid in my room most of the weekend."

Phoebe nods. "I know, Jayne. I just...I wish I could figure out who's doing this. Whoever is sending me these things has Piper scared, now, and she wants me to move back into the dorms. I don't want to and I plan to stay here. I just need to find a way to convince her that I'm safe here."

Her fear is her problem, not yours.. why do you always gotta take on what everybody else thinks and does?

Phoebe sighs and sits down on the bed. "Because I don't like those I care about hurting." She shakes her head. "I try to protect those I care for...only sometimes I make a mess out of it. Hells...I was even going to try to protect you, even though I know you don't need it."

Phoebe looks at him. "I know it's stupid which is why I did come to you. This is the first time I've thought about me instead of someone else."

She sighs. "Jayne, I'm scared, and I don't like the feeling. Someone is stalking me, and I don't know what to do."

"I appreciate that thought." Phoebe sighs.

"I don't want you getting into trouble, Jayne. I also know that I'm safer here."

She frowns. "I really need to get better with a gun."
