Morning in town

There's a whole lot of commotion in one of the street of town. Workers are scurrying about one of the shops, moving in and out with equipment and carefully avoiding Tex who is overlooking their work. The armour is intimidating enough and the man in charge looks nervous as he approaches the spartan.

"I'm afraid it will take until Monday before we can get things finished," he says, keeping a safe distance between him and Tex.

"We're opening on Friday," Tex replies coldly. She looks up at the workers who are busy attaching the "Blood Gulch Arms" sign above the display window.

"But..."

Her attention snaps back to the man and she takes a step towards him. "I'm paying you to get this finished this week. I don't care how you do it, but you will be done by 9:00 on Friday morning."

"Yes, ma'am." He stammers and quickly gets back to work.

Paige walks through town, there be must be somewhere for her to work, she notices what looks like a new shop opening and approaches the...robot?

"Ermn excuse me, you wouldn't be needed any employees when you open would you?" she smiles

Tex turns her head and studies the girl. She saw her last night in the bar, throwing some sort of hissy fit.

"No," she replies shortly, wondering why the girl would even dream to think that she'd be hiring just someone who comes walking up to her.

Paige smiles again "Thanks anyway."

Tex ignores the girl. She might be persuaded to care if Paige paid her enough, until then she couldn't give a damn.

*Vala looks up as she walks by -- it really had been too long since she'd gotten into town*

*She eyed the armored warrior supervising the move-in to... an arms shop? Oh, Principal Connor would freak... or become their best customer -- you could never tell with her.*

*Knowing perfectly well how to avoid asking for trouble, she nods at the warrior and keeps moving.*

Tex eyes the girl passing by. For some reason she looked like trouble, but she was sure she could handle it. She really hoped they'd keep the teenage angst at bay. Unless of course, some love sick teenager would be eager to pay her money to break thier crush's leg or something. Tex could live with that sort of angst if it paid enough.
