Wednesday -- The Emporium is Open
Michael is very subdued this morning as he opens the store. There's cleaning and straightening to be done, so he's keeping busy. He's also trying not to be obvious about the eye he's keeping on Ben, who is seated near the back of the store, writing. The string of mala beads Michael gave Ben are wrapped around his left wrist, and he strokes them absent-mindedly, thinking, in between bursts of writing. The door to the back room is right behind Ben, and that reminder makes Michael shudder.

As he turns back to the fishing equipment, he asks, "Which of these lures would you say is the best for the fish in the lake?"

but I'm going to have to get one if people keep asking. Someone came in and asked the same thing yesterday, I think he managed to find a locksmith in the area in the phone book, though. *pushes the phone book across the counter* *makes note to self to get key-duplicating machine*((ooc: dammit, I knew I shouldn't have said no yesterday. Bad for business not to have one, apparently! :P))

Now, the far more important question: do you have beer?

Late Afternoon
So... I get food, and you're getting a toaster, right?
Re: Late Afternoon
*lets go of Cally's hand reluctantly*
*waves at Michael* Hi. I'm back. No weird questions from me today, though, I promise. *smiles brightly*
